An electric actuator operated ball valve is an automated valve that uses an electric motor to rotate a ball 90° for precise flow control, enabling remote and automated operation in industrial systems.Overview

An electric actuated ball valve combines a standard ball valve with an electric actuator, allowing the valve to open or close automatically when a control signal is received, eliminating the need for manual operation 
. These valves are widely used in industrial automation, chemical processing, water treatment, and HVAC systems due to their reliability, precision, and integration with control systems like PLCs or SCADA 

Operation

Electric actuators rotate the ball inside the valve body 90 degrees (quarter-turn) to switch between fully open and fully closed positions . On/off actuators use internal cams and limit switches to stop the motor once the valve reaches the desired position. Some actuators are multi-voltage and can automatically adjust to the input voltage, while torque ratings vary from compact 17Nm units to high-power 600Nm actuators for larger valves .

  • Three-way ball valves: L-port or T-port configurations for fluid diversion or mixing
