This versatility makes them popular in diverse applications where manipulating fluid flow is crucial. How it worksThe core of a 3-way ball valve is a rotating ball with a bore (hole) that, when aligned with the valve's ports, allows media to pass through. The valve's handle or actuator rotates the ball, controlling the direction and combination of flow paths. TypesThere are two primary types of 3-way ball valves, categorized by the shape of the bore within the ball:

• L-Port Valves (Diverting Valves): These valves have an L-shaped bore, typically connecting two ports at a 90-degree angle. They are designed for diverting flow from a common inlet to one of two outlets or selecting between two inlets for a single outlet.
• T-Port Valves (Mixing or Distributing Valves): T-port valves feature a T-shaped bore, allowing for more versatile flow patterns.
