500mm Butterfly Valve Details
Large diameter pipelines need valves that can handle higher flow while remaining easy to operate. We manufacture and supply 500mm Butterfly Valve in Ahmedabad, Gujarat for industrial pipeline systems where dependable flow control is required. This model is built with a Cast Iron body, Stainless Steel CF8M disc, SS 410 shaft and EPDM seat. The valve is supplied with a gear-operated mechanism and wafer type end connection, making it suitable for various industrial installations.
The 500 mm size is commonly selected for large water distribution and industrial process lines. The gear operator helps the user open and close the valve smoothly, even on larger diameter pipelines. Along with this model, we also offer 500mm Butterfly Valve in different operating and seating configurations based on application requirements.
Designed for Large Pipeline Installations
This 500mm Butterfly Valve is manufactured with a Cast Iron (CI) body for strength and a Stainless Steel (CF8M) disc for reliable flow control. The EPDM seat provides sealing between the disc and body, while the SS 410 shaft supports smooth disc rotation during operation. The wafer type construction allows the valve to be installed between pipeline flanges without increasing the overall pipeline length.

Working Principle
The valve operates using a quarter-turn rotating disc. When the disc is parallel to the flow direction, the valve remains fully open. Rotating the gear mechanism turns the disc until it reaches the closed position. The disc can also be positioned between fully open and fully closed to regulate the flow according to process requirements.
